12:05 – 12:20 Host Utility – Introduction and discussion regarding the effects and challenges currently being faced due to COVID-19.
The City of Austin is committed to maintaining uninterrupted water and wastewater service to the community. A top priority has been the health and safety of staff in order to protect critical infrastructure and the personnel operating them. The City is achieving this by strictly following State and City COVID 19 guidelines. Steps implemented include modifying operations, teleworking, preventing unnecessary contact and expanding customer assistance programs.
